Week 2

Well, I'm on my own again. My friend had to drop out of our challenge for now. BUT that doesn't mean I'm stopping. I actually made it to the gym this morning and I'm cutting out carbs today. On saturday we were cleaning out the garage and I found an entire bin full of my "Skinny" clothes. I have so many cute clothes that I need to fit into! I got so angry at myself for letting myself get to this point. I don't want to be like this! I am only 28 and I should feel like I'm 28! I'm changing today and I'm going to DO everything I can to overcome this!
Goal today: -exercise(check) -fold laundry -go play tennis

  2. A few weeks ago I read an interesting (and unfair) article about why it's so hard for women to lose weight. Stop me if I already told you this one.

Apparently when women exercise, their body produces a hormone that entices them to eat as soon as they get done working out. Her body doesn't want her to lose weight. On the other hand, when a man exercises, he feels the opposite--like he DOESN'T want to eat. So when a man includes exercise in his weight loss regimen, it's likely to help him. Women have to be much more careful about counting their calories to make sure more calories go out than come in.

I'm sorry your friend quit you! But you're not alone. I'm always here cheering you on.

  3. Jenna, That is so true. After Kyle exercises he doesn't ever want to eat...I get hungry while I'm exercising! I think it's okay to eat after you exercise as long as you eat the right stuff. Thank you for always being there!
